Moving on ......

My Freind nd work colleague left today . When I say left I do not mean gone to a new job more a shuffle of work area. She will now be based else where in the county but her leaving will mean we have a huge gap that I think anyone else will struggle to fill . She is one of the best work colleagues who is not only good at her job but a bloody fab human being . Think it showed in the fact that so many gave to her collection and still bought her personal gifts.
So at the end of a long and sad week I thought I might share the card I made .

It is made using stamps from my two favourite stamp companies - the Letter box set from 'Clarity' and the Bird song set from 'Hobby Art'
If you want to see a craft / art blog worthy of awards you need to go over nd take a peek at Brbar Gray from 'Clarity' blog it's such a daily gift of creative gems and shared thought and perspective - even if stamping is not your thing and your not that bothered bout craft I personally think Barbara offers something still - she is such a marvel !

Till next time xx

  1. Your cards are lovely but I particularly like this one because I think the Hobby Art bird on the branch and the Clarity alphabet sentiment together make a wonderful leaving card. The colours you have used are lovely. I notice you are relatively new to blogging and I have only been blogging for about six months but I think, if you don't mind me saying, we are not seeing the best of your lovely cards because everything is a bit small. Perhaps you could increase the width of the central writing area then everything would look just that bit bigger. I love the background with the trees, it has the look of a country diary. I hope you don't mind me making this suggestion, but your work deserves to be more easily viewed.

  2. Well a big thank-you Pat for making a glum week much brighter. Your taking the time to post a comment has made my day. I am not overly confident in my cards but just know I love making them so your comments were so lovely to read .
Also a big thank-you for the constructive feed back, I will endeavour to increase the image size but think I also need to work on the picture taking too !
So any help on how best to photograph my cards would be most welcome .
